Story

Many of you know that funding for research to develop an early detection for ovarian cancer is a cause near and dear to my heart. So after running the marathon for Team TEAL I went looking for some shorter runs to stay involved.

I've signed up to support the 7th annual Mighty Moose 5k and raise money for Ovarian Cancer Prevention. These funds are critically important to support ovarian cancer research led by Dr. Kevin Elias, who is a gynecologic oncologist and surgeon-scientist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston and is affiliated with the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Dr. Elias and his team of researchers have identified a groundbreaking new process to detect ovarian cancer at its earliest stages. The initial results of Dr. Elias’ research are incredibly promising!

Last but not least... Not only did I sign up to run, I have started the process to be a study participant as well! 💪🏻
